From a Cost Accountant, to running an international music label as the MD, Shamir comes from a corporate background which gives him a sophisticated edge over his contemporaries.
Shamir got his first break by humming a tune in a coffee shop to director Madhur Bhandarkar of Chandni Bar fame. He then went on to do a trilogy of national award winning films with him.
